Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. In 2000, he began his acting career as a character in television shows like Opposite sex. Following appearances in several teen films including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he was noticed for his performance of the Marvel Comics characters such as the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans has appeared in other film adaptations based on comic books, such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). Alongside his character as Steve Rogers/Captain America Evans was recognized for his work in his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) and Captain America: Civil War. In the Marvel universe, the role as Captain Steve Rogers and Captain America earned him the title of most highly paid actor in the world.
